A steady framework for our work together

The following policies are intended to support clarity, consistency, and mutual understanding. If you have any questions, you’re always welcome to reach out.

  • Standard sessions are 50 minutes and are typically held on a weekly basis. We will reserve a consistent day and time each week that is set aside for you.

All sessions are conducted via secure telehealth for clients located in California and New Hampshire.

For couples therapy, session length may be extended when clinically appropriate to allow space for the work.

  • Standard sessions are $200 per 50-minute session. Longer sessions are prorated based on the standard session fee.

Fees are reviewed periodically and may be adjusted, typically on an annual basis. If this occurs, you will be notified ahead of time.

    Reduced Student Rates

A limited number of reduced-fee spaces are reserved for students in counseling psychology and related graduate programs who are training to become therapists. This is offered in support of the growth and development of future clinicians, and in recognition of the unique financial demands of training.

If you are a student and feel this may be relevant to you, please reach out to inquire about current availability.

    Good Faith Estimate

Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the expected cost of services if you are uninsured or not using insurance. You may request this estimate before scheduling or at any time. Please reach out if you would like one.

  • I am an out-of-network provider and am not contracted with any insurance companies or Medicare.

If you have an HSA or FSA, you may be able to use these benefits. If you have an insurance plan with out-of-network benefits, you may be also eligible for reimbursement. I can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. Coverage and reimbursement depends on your specific plan so I encourage you to reach out to your insurance company for details on your benefits.

  • This practice has a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice.

Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, as well as missed appointments, are charged the full session fee.

Since life can bring surprises, up to two late cancellations per calendar year may be waived for clients in regular weekly therapy. Additional late cancellations are charged in full.

  • A regular meeting time is an important part of the therapeutic process. Meeting consistently helps support continuity, depth, and the overall effectiveness of our work together.

If your schedule or availability changes, we can revisit what feels most supportive moving forward.
