Hi, I’m Mitsue.
(pronounced like café and résumé)
I’m a licensed psychotherapist in California and New Hampshire, offering culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and somatically oriented therapy for individuals, couples, and relationships of every kind.
I have always been drawn to understanding how people make sense of their experiences across various cultures, identities, and relationships. My work is deeply shaped by my multicultural upbringing as a third culture kid, my Japanese heritage, and my experiences as an Asian American immigrant. Living between cultures has given me an appreciation for how identity, belonging, and relational dynamics can intersect in complex and often unseen ways.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked in leadership roles within global corporate and tech startup environments. This experience informs my work with professionals navigating high expectations, stress, and the ongoing challenge of balancing career, relationships, and personal wellbeing.
In our work together, I offer a space to slow down, reflect, and move toward a more grounded and balanced way of being.
In our sessions we move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

mindfulness and compassion-based work
trauma-informed approaches such as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing)
psychodynamic exploration into insight and parts work
